I started photography in the late 60’s early 70’s whilst serving with the RAF in Bahrain, not just capturing images but also developing and printing, so getting to know the whole process. Acquired my first Digital camera about 15 years ago and enjoy the freedom and benefits that digital has to offer I enjoy all genres of photography but particularly like Landscape and Portraiture. Museum Reopening

The Camera club has been working in partnership with the Weston Super Mare Town Council since 2012.  We have been photographing the redevelopment of the Weston museum, from the decant of the old displays, through the strip out and rebuilding, to the fitting out of the new galleries and displays.  The images produced by the club members will be a unique historical record of the [...]

Summer Programme

      The summer programme has been well attended, with some very interesting locations selected by and lead by the members. Trips to Banwell, a photo walk around Weston, Ham Wall, Cheddar, Clifton Suspension Bridge, Temple Meads and Mere Down Falconry have all proved popular and some stunning images have resulted.
