The modern day ‘William Mable’ cuts the ribbon to open the newly refurbished Weston Museum

After 2 years of hard work by Town Council, Museum Staff, Curatorial Staff from the South West Heritage Trust and of course all the many volunteers, the Weston Museum has at long last reopened.  The original museum was founded by William Mable in the mid 19th Century and today’s museum was opened by a modern day incarnation. I am sure that William Mable would have been delighted to see how the museum looks today.

The A1 Camera club has been privileged to work closely with the Museum and Town Council staff to provide a photographic record of the redevelopment and we look forward to continuing our partnership during future projects for the museum
